St Paul Public Housing Authority: Public Housing Hi Rise Efficiency & 1 Bedroom Apartments

The St. Paul Public Housing Agency will accept online applications on March 3, 2016, and will continue until further notice. This waiting list is for efficiency and one-bedroom apartments in PHA hi-rise buildings. The Public Housing program provides apartments with reduced rent (based on income) to households with low incomes.

Applications are available online 24 hours per day starting at 8:00 am on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 at www.stpha.org.

There is no advantage to applying on the first day. All applications received between 8:00 AM on March 3, 2016 through midnight on March 9, 2016 are randomly sorted. Applications received after March 9, 2016 are sorted by the date and time received.

In order to qualify, annual gross household income cannot exceed these amounts:

1 Person: $46,100

2 Persons: $52,650

Applications are not available at the PHA offices. Fax or e-mail requests are not accepted. The PHA will not provide telephone assistance to complete an application. Applicants may use any computer, tablet or smart-phone with internet access to apply, including free computers at public libraries.

Applicants needing a reasonable accommodation can submit a written request to the PHA’s Rental Office.

NOTE: The PHA is not accepting applications for larger public housing units (2 or more bedrooms), because of the large number of families still on those waiting lists.
