St Paul PHA is opening its Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) wait list lottery.
Wait List Opens: 8:00 AM on Tuesday November 15, 2022
Wait List Closes: 11:59 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022

How Applications are Chosen for the Wait List
All applications received between Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 8:00AM through Monday November 21, 2022 at 11:59PM are placed in a lottery for 2,000 spots on the Section 8 waiting list.
95% of those spots are awarded to applicants whose head of household or spouse lives, works, or attends school in St. Paul, or to applicants who are homeless and have completed an assessment with a Metro area Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry system and/or who have stayed in a shelter within the last 12 months.
The remaining 5% are awarded to any other applicant.
Reasonable Accommodation
Applicants who need a reasonable accommodation due to a disability that impacts their ability to complete an online application to the waiting list are encouraged to submit a written request to the PHA before the waiting list opens. In any event, all applications must be received by the time the waiting list closes on Monday November 21, 2022 at 11:59 PM.
