Scott County CDA Rural Development Housing Wait List

Information Needed to Apply:

• A valid email address
• Names, Social Security numbers, and birth dates for all household members
• The household’s gross annual income

Household Size Requirements: Minimum and Maximum Number of People Allowed to Live in the Home* 

• Efficiency - 1 minimum, 2 maximum
• 1 Bedroom - 1 minimum, 2 maximum
• 2 Bedroom - 2 minimum, 4 maximum
• 3 Bedroom - 4 minimum, 6 maximum

* The following circumstances are exceptions: Live-in aides will be allocated a separate bedroom; Foster adults and foster children will be allocated a separate bedroom.

Income Limits: Maximum Income Allowed

• 1 person household: $68,500/year ($5,708/month)
• 2 person household: $78,250/year ($6,520/month)
• 3 person household: $88,050/year ($7,337/month)
• 4 person household: $97,800/year ($8,150/month)
• 5 person household: $105,650/year ($8,804/month)
• 6 person household: $113,450/year ($9,454/month)

How the CDA assigns bedrooms to household members:
The CDA will assign the first bedroom to the Head of Household and their spouse or significant other (if applicable). Thereafter, the CDA will assign one bedroom for each two persons regardless of sex, age, or relationship,

• The CDA will notify you through the portal that you have been selected.
• Failure to maintain your email and password to get notifications will result in being removed from the waiting list.
• At selection, your eligibility will be redetermined.
• Please note: The CDA cannot predict how long it will take for you to get to the top of the list.
